Summer 2016 Beauty Trends

Finally Summer is here! Gone are the months of smokey eyes and vampire lips, Summer 2016 is bringing with it pink peach tones, snow white lips, and bronzing to the max. As per usual, the catwalk shows at the recent fashion weeks have inspired these new looks and I have picked my favourites that I think you will all love!

Summer is all about bright lips this season, and these candy apple lips are the perfect way to wear this look. Depending on your skin tone, you can wear this in many different ways. If you have pink undertones to your skin, a blue toned berry lip would look amazing. If you have more of a yellow undertone, this bright coral red from MAC is perfect for you. The more darker complexion is super lucky because any tone of red will look great on you.

£15.50                                                         in Provocateur £7.99                                 in Rose Intime £26

When anyone says to me 'summer makeup', I automatically think bronzed skin. There are some great bronzers out there that can help you achieve this effortless glowy bronzed look. It is the quickest way to make yourself look as though you have spent ages doing your makeup; everything looks miles better when you have a bit of bronze going on.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess £33            Loreal Glam Bronze Terra Bronzer £12.99    MAC Bronzing Powder/Vibe Tribe £24

This summer it's all about the sunset. In the past the beauty trends have very much been centered around peachy blush and bronze eyes, but this year the roles are reversed. The catwalks have been full of pink/peach tones on the eyes, and I am loving it. Being a girly girl at heart, I love any excuse to put pink products in my makeup kit, so this trend is definitely one for me.
Maybelline The Blushed Nudes £7.99    Revlon Colorstay 16hr eyeshadow £7.99     Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette £38.50
